This past weekend I trekked out to Sauvie Island for a day adventure with the boy. We stumbled across a berry farm and realized oh my, strawberries are in season! So of course we had to stop and pick some - and taste along the way. Hey, the owner encouraged us to taste test! We picked about 5 lbs. worth, which we later made into jam.
