I am blessed to live in a really beautiful part of Portland nestled just 10 minutes from downtown.

The homes in my neighborhood sell for way more money than I'll ever make in my lifetime. But me, who lives in a rental, and those perched atop the steep hills have one thing in common: an awesome nature park right in our little neck of the woods.

On Sunday I finally went exploring on some of the nature trails. I usually do my runs walks within the neighborhood and don't venture deep into the trails. I had NO IDEA there were so many awesome trails. I think I can cross "discover outdoor haven" off my summer bucket list. It so counts!
